Lightweight Thermal Performance. Gen III ECWCS Level 2. Engineered for High-Output Activities.
The Polartec® Power Grid® zip-neck top is a high-performance base layer designed for superior moisture management and thermal regulation. Built to the standards of the U.S. Military Gen III ECWCS Level 2 system, it provides the perfect balance of warmth and breathability for tactical professionals and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
The bi-component grid structure of Polartec® Power Grid® is what sets this top apart. The raised grid inner surface creates contact points between fabric and skin, improving moisture transfer while simultaneously trapping warm air in the channels between. The result is a base layer that keeps you dry during high-output movement and warm when you slow down. Flat seam construction ensures maximum comfort with no chafing under gear or outer layers.

Performance Features
- Polartec® Power Grid® Fabric: Bi-component grid design traps warm air for heat retention while creating open channels for maximum airflow and rapid moisture transfer — the same fabric used in the U.S. Army ECWCS Gen III Level 2 system.
- Odor Resistant® Technology: Odor Resistant® technology permanently keeps odor-causing bacteria at bay — so the garment stays fresh longer, even during the most demanding use.
- Flat Seam Construction: Assembled with flat seams using COATS elastic thread — no pressure points or chafing under plate carriers or outer layers.
- Tactical Fit: Anatomical close fit with multi-directional stretch for unrestricted range of motion during high-intensity activities.
- Hard-Use Hardware: YKK® zippers and industrial-grade COATS elastic threads ensure seam integrity under extreme tension.
