The High Loft Tactical jacket is a professional-grade insulation layer built around the same technology used in the U.S. Military's Gen III ECWCS Level 3 system. Designed for military personnel, law enforcement, and tactical professionals, it delivers maximum thermal protection without compromising mobility.

The jacket is built from Polartec® High Loft™ — a lightweight fleece with long yarns that imitate animal fur, achieving an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio. It pulls moisture away from the body and dries fast, keeping you dry during high-output movement.

Shoulder zones are reinforced with durable nylon for added abrasion resistance where friction from gear is greatest. The full-length YKK® zipper features an internal windproof strip to block cold air ingress at the chest.

Versatility & Layering

This jacket is purpose-built as a Level 3 insulation layer:

Standalone Layer: Suitable for cool, dry conditions where a clean, low-profile appearance is required.
Midlayer (L3): In sub-zero temperatures, wear under a hardshell. Creates a primary heat-trap while allowing moisture to escape, preventing post-exertion chill during static periods.
