Lightweight. Field-Tested. Built to Stay Hidden.
The NYCO RipStop Multicam® Cap is a tactical field cap engineered for military personnel, law enforcement, and serious tactical users who need headwear that performs under operational conditions — not just in the sun. Made from Milliken® NYCO Hot Weather Rip-Stop MultiCam® fabric, it is lightweight, highly durable, and designed to integrate seamlessly with full MultiCam® kit.
The fabric is treated with NIR® (Near Infrared Reflectance) technology, which reduces the cap's infrared signature and minimises the risk of detection by night vision devices and other optical equipment. UPF 50+ UV protection shields your head during extended outdoor exposure. The Velcro® MultiCam® patch panel on the front allows attachment of identification, rank insignia, or unit patches. A hidden size adjustment system ensures a secure, personalised fit without visible hardware.
Performance Features
- Milliken® NYCO Hot Weather Fabric: Premium 57% Nylon / 43% Cotton blend engineered for hot weather — lightweight, highly breathable, and wear-resistant. NYCO construction is a proven military textile standard used by armed forces worldwide.
- NIR® Technology: Near Infrared Reflectance treatment reduces the cap's detectability by infrared night vision devices and specialised optical equipment — essential for operational environments where concealment matters.
- RipStop Construction: Reinforced grid weave prevents tears from spreading — the cap resists snagging and abrasion under hard use without adding weight.
- UPF 50+ UV Protection: Maximum-rated ultraviolet protection for the head and face during prolonged sun exposure.
- MultiCam® Velcro® Patch Panel: Front-mounted Velcro® panel accepts standard patches for ID, rank insignia, or unit identification — compatible with the MultiCam® ecosystem.
- Hidden Size Adjustment: Internal adjustment system provides a precise, secure fit without visible buckles or straps.
