The UBACS FR MultiCam® Combat Shirt is a hybrid-construction garment engineered specifically for wear under body armor or camouflage reconnaissance gear. It combines two purpose-built fabrics in one shirt: a flame-retardant, breathable torso and abrasion-resistant, pattern-printed sleeves and collar.
The torso is built from Polartec® Power Dry® FR, using HOT WEATHER clothing technology for continuous airflow and rapid moisture transfer off the skin — critical for comfort under a plate carrier in high heat. The sleeves and collar switch to Milliken® NYCO Hot Weather Rip-Stop MultiCam®, a tougher weave suited to contact with gear and repeated abrasion. The printed area is treated with NIR® technology, reducing light and infrared reflection to lower detection risk under night vision devices.
Performance Features
- Polartec® Power Dry® FR Torso: Flame-resistant, breathable fabric built on HOT WEATHER technology — continuous airflow and rapid moisture transfer keep you cool and dry under body armor in high heat. Does not support combustion.
- Milliken® NYCO Rip-Stop MultiCam® Sleeves & Collar: Hot Weather Rip-Stop fabric on the high-contact zones — sleeves and collar — for durability where gear rubs and grips.
- NIR® Technology: The printed pattern area is treated to reduce light and infrared reflection, lowering detection risk under night vision and IR devices.
- Odor Resistant® Technology: Antibacterial protection keeps the garment fresh through extended wear without resupply.
- Two Sleeve Pockets: Roomy zippered pockets on both sleeves for fast-access storage.
- Adjustable Cuffs & Sleeve Roll-Up System: Secure length adjustment along the sleeve, with Velcro on both arms for patches and a dedicated pen slot.
- YKK® Zippered Collar: Quick on/off collar access, built with YKK® hardware throughout.
